Q. How do I sign up?
A.
To sign up with Dog Walkers R Us you may call or email us and you will be contacted within 24 hours to discuss your pet's needs.

Q. Is the information I provide Dog Walkers R Us kept confidential?
A.
Yes! We do not disclose client information of any kind to third parties. Dog Walkers R Us accesses the information to service our clients' needs.

Q. Can I be assured of the same Pet Specialist each time?
A.
We definitely prefer to keep the same Pet Specialist assigned to your account each time, however if that individual is not available for some reason, a fully trained (and informed) substitute from our staff will always be available for back up.

Q. How does your Pet Specialist get access to my home?
A.
Before you depart home we may pick up a copy of your key(s) or you may choose to place your key(s) in a secret predetermined location for the Pet Specialist to access.

Q. How long is each visit?
A.
Standard Vacation Visits and Dog Walks are 30-minutes in length, and are accompanied with a Report Card® which is used to communicate between you and your Pet Care Specialist. The Report Card® will be left in a location designated by you and comprises of two sections. The first (top) section will inform you of your pet's excursion and give you some information as to their mood and overall activity. The bottom section is completed by you and tells the Pet Care Specialist of the last time your dog was walked and whether the dog had relieved itself.

Q. Do you offer any sort of satisfaction guarantee?
A.
You want to know that your pet will be cared for just the way you specify. And we will guarantee it every time! If you are not 100% satisfied with the service that was provided, we will be happy to address your concerns and provide your next visit for free. We believe in lasting client relationships and so our service is only complete when you have returned home and are completely satisfied.

Q. What kind of animals do you care for?
A.
We care for most animals, as long as they do not pose a danger to our Pet Care Specialists. We do not care for any animals with a history of biting, fighting or attacking other animals or people.

Q. How do you choose your Pet Care Specialists?
A.
At Dog Walkers R Us our foremost priority is the safety and security of our clients, their pets and their property. Our Pet Care Specialists undergo an extensive pre-employment screening process, including reference checks and background history checks.

Q. Do you administer medication to pets?
A.
We will administer medication - pills and drops are no additional charge, and injections for an additional charge (see Pricing). We will not administer medication to any animal that poses a danger to our Pet Care Specialists.

Q. Can I hire my Pet Care Specialist directly from Dog Walkers R Us?
A.
No. We ask our clients to please not place our Pet Care Specialists in the uncomfortable position of offering them employment apart from Dog Walkers R Us. Our Pet Care Specialists are contractually prohibited from soliciting or accepting employment directly from our clients.

Q. What if my property or pet is damaged while I am gone?
A.
At Dog Walkers R Us we are committed to providing a professional, reliable, and trustworthy service. Dog Walkers R Us is only liable for claims arising from negligence or wilful misconduct. Due to the extreme unpredictability of animals, we cannot accept responsibility for unusual mishaps (i.e., biting, furniture damage, etc.). Also, if your pets have access to the outside, we are not responsible for injury, disappearance, or fines.

Q. How am I billed, and when is it due?
A.
You may pay your bill using Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or via cash or cheque; full payment is due in advance. Keep in mind that you may also purchase 10, 20 and 30 visits to take advantage of our lower rates specials, where future visits will then be credited against your total visits purchased.

Q. Who do I make the cheques payable to?
A.
All cheques are payable to "Dog Walkers R Us."

Q. May I give my Pet Care Specialist a gratuity?
A.
Absolutely. You may give gratuities directly to your Pet Care Specialist, or if you prefer you may pay it to the company. 100% of gratuities go directly to the designated Pet Care Specialist.

Q. Do you have references?
A.
Yes. References are available upon request.
